Brief History of AISS
Establishment
Approved on 22nd March 1996 by the Abia State Ministry of Education. The initial intake was Primary 1-5. The first Headmistress was Chief Mrs. D.N Okezu.
Founders
Director & Founder: Late Professor Chidi Ikonne.
Manager: Chief Mrs. Uche Ikonne.
Their vision was to ensure no child is deprived of education due to financial constraints.
Secondary School
Opened in September 2001 with just 9 students. Elder D. O. Arungwa served as the pioneer Principal (2002-2008).
